Our Blanc de Blancs, is a wine that is close to our hearts here at Hattingley Valley and our 2015 vintage is no exception.

A firm favourite from most of the team, and many customers, it has won us a number of awards over the years and is one of those wines that only continues to improve with age. 2015 was a rollercoaster ride from a cold summer to a gloriously sunny autumn. A late start to harvest produced wonderfully crisp acids, intense flavours, and perfect conditions for sparkling wines with enormous ageing potential. 

Its complexity often surprises people, as it is made from just one variety; 100% Chardonnay. Ideal for drinking now, or giving as the perfect wine gift, this Blanc de Blancs is truly versatile and will continue to mature and develop for years to come.

  • Suggested pairing: white fish or sea bass with a white
     sauce and fennel purée). Or, for a lighter bite, smoked trout pâte or a mild and creamy cheese.

Super smashing great

I first tried this at a tasting trip ,and loved it ,it obviously was the expensive one ,have brought 5 bottles now ,5 * stuff ,a treat after the family left after Christmas 🎄 ,

Better than ‘champagne’!

I ordered two bottles for Christmas Day, as Hattingley is genuinely far superior to any champagne I’ve had. I’ve previously tasted and ordered bottles before, so it my drink of choice for special occasions.
The bottles arrived promptly, protected well, and I can’t wait to open them on Christmas Day….I’d they last that long!
