The Hattingley Valley vineyard walk and tasting on Sunday was great with very knowledgeable hosts. It was good to see the vineyard (although well hidden away and not so easy to find!) and hear about the history and then how the vines are managed from the vineyard manager. Then of course the tastings at various points of the vineyard really added to the whole experience. All 4 of the wines were great and confirmed our love for English sparkling wine.

Booked this tour at the last minute for my mum's birthday after a quick Google search, and what a find it turned out to be.

We were incredibly lucky to be the only four people on the tour, which made the experience feel really personal. James was absolutely fantastic. We had the full two hours with him, and his knowledge was brilliant. What stood out most was how well he balanced the educational side with the wine tasting. So many vineyard tours focus heavily on selling the product, but James spent just as much time explaining the story of Hattingley Valley, the winemaking process, and what makes English sparkling wine so special.

The tour was engaging, informative and never felt like a sales pitch. That said, we enjoyed it so much we left with a case of their Classic Cuvée!
Most importantly, my mum had a lovely birthday treat and came away saying it was one of the highlights of her weekend.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wine tour that's genuinely interesting, welcoming and expertly hosted. Very good value too at £30 a head, given the length of tour, generous tastings and knowledge learnt.

After the brilliant talk and tour of the winery, the wines themselves were a revelation. Having been in the wine trade in several different aspects, I have to say, Hattingley wines are some of the best English bottles out there.
Keep it coming, and many congratulations, all the care and effort put into the making of these excellent sparklers has paid off. Thank you.

Excellent afternoon and most interesting talk. What a good idea to start the afternoon with one delicious glass of sparkling wine, then a comprehensive tour and then back for more talk and more tasting. We really did enjoy it. The wines were very high calibre. Thank you.

Fantastic experience at Hattingley Valley ! James has such deep knowledge and passion for the industry and was delightful throughout. Learnt lots but also tasted some really delicious sparkling wines - what a great day out !

Quite a bad road to get there watch the hedges with your mirrors and the entrance is very tight nice staff and quick load

Fascinating. The scale of equipment and investment required is breathtaking. You get the whole picture. So interesting and informative. I thought i knew about Sparkling wines made in the traditional Champagne method . The team were very knlowledgeable. They're very generous with the bubbly and not least the quality is superb. Highly recommend.
The best drink related tour I've been on. I bought a few to take home for special occasions.

Fantastic experience. I really enjoyed the tour and I loved the structure of tasting a wine first and then coming back to do the rest at the end. Mags was very knowledgeable and friendly and the wines are fantastic. Knowing doing those tours lets you drink their wines 4 times a weekend in that beautiful building is making me consider a career change!

What an excellent and informative visit!
The passion and knowledge shown for each part of the wine making process was amazing. The walk around the winery was interesting and we were encouraged to ask questions. When it came to tasting the wines and talking about their content ……. Words can barely explain the delight! Absolutely worth a visit!

Was a great experience - very knowledgeable chap leading the tour and great to understand the process behind the wine making. The sparkling wine is great as well.

I haven't tried the champagne yet but I placed multiple orders for different people and the customer service team were brilliant when I needed help.
