Don't just take our word for it
Haven’t tried it yet,it’s special for Christmas
crisp, light and refreshing.
This is up there with the best dessert wines. Different to traditional dessert wines as it uses Bacchus grapes. Drink alongside cheese and a tart/sharp dessert like a Plumb Crumble, Tarte Tatin, Rhubarb tart or similar, we also tried it with Christmas Pudding (yes September is a bit early but had friends over from the US and they had never tried Christmas Pudding) and found that the sweeter dessert wasn’t a perfect match hence having it again with more tart desserts
Our guide David was very knowledgeable but made it fun too, very interesting to learn about the process of making bubblies, great tasting white and rose bubblies and we got a top up after we drank our four samples. Great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Thirty plus degrees Celsius is not that common in the UK, so what do you do when that happens? My choice is to sit outside in a lightly shaded area of the garden, and share a chilled bottle of Hattingley Valley Rose sparkling English wine with my wife.
The wine is a beautiful light pink colour in the glass, with inviting small bubbles. There is a very pleasant fruity zesty nose, and this just means you can’t just sit there looking at it and smelling it, you’ve got to get stuck in!! It doesn’t disappoint! Very fresh, fruity, zesty, just a perfect balance of acid tartness and sweetness, and absolutely delicious. It’s the same every time we’ve enjoyed this wine - at the end I wish I’d bought a magnum!!

The best accolade I can give this is that my wife, who despises rose wine and especially sparkling says this is really good! The lady was after all for turning!

Having experienced this wonderful sparkling wine on a BA flight, I often choose it as a refreshing alternative to the champagnes on offer in the Lounge or on the flight. It’s has a full flavour which is also soft; a light indulgence. At home it is always enjoyed by friends too.
Would highly recommend, it’s now our go too!
