Light, fresh, delicious!!

Thirty plus degrees Celsius is not that common in the UK, so what do you do when that happens? My choice is to sit outside in a lightly shaded area of the garden, and share a chilled bottle of Hattingley Valley Rose sparkling English wine with my wife.
The wine is a beautiful light pink colour in the glass, with inviting small bubbles. There is a very pleasant fruity zesty nose, and this just means you can’t just sit there looking at it and smelling it, you’ve got to get stuck in!! It doesn’t disappoint! Very fresh, fruity, zesty, just a perfect balance of acid tartness and sweetness, and absolutely delicious. It’s the same every time we’ve enjoyed this wine - at the end I wish I’d bought a magnum!!
