2017 presented us with some challenging conditions throughout the growing season: severe spring frosts at the end of April, and a good amount of rainfall all the way through August, lead to lower yields and increased disease pressure during the ripening period. Thankfully, September brought us dry, warm weather, allowing the grapes to be fully ripe and achieve good sugar levels while retaining their crisp acidity.

Rosé 2015 Magnum

The 2015 growing season was a test of good site selection, and our vineyard team did a wonderful job in challenging conditions - the summer was cooler than the previous year, particularly in August, which is the crucial month for veraison and the start of the ripening season. The pinots were super-ripe with b flavours, good acidity levels and deep in colour.

Blanc de Blancs 2014 Magnum

GRAPE - Chardonnay 100% 
ALCOHOL (ABV) - 12%
VEGETARIAN/VEGAN - Yes

The Chardonnay grapes were handpicked and gently whole bunched pressed. Approximately 13% of the total blend was fermented in old oak barrels and partial malolactic fermentation took place to provide a round and creamy texture. After five years ageing on lees in bottle to add complexity and depth, the wine was disgorged with a light dosage of 6 g/L.
